Our trip began in Charleston where we roamed the busy cobble streets and gazed at the ornate architecture. I’m a sucker for the pops of color around every corner and the shops in this town are one of a kind. …
If you know me then you know I’m a BIG fan of cheese boards. My best friends and I have made it a tradition to have them at girls night and we tend to always order them when we’re out to eat. In short, we’re OBSESSED.
This undeniable love got me thinking, “what would the ULTIMATE cheese board look like?” Lucky for you, you don’t have to wonder. I’ve pulled together the best ingredients you could want and I’ll show you how to assemble the ultimate cheese board for your next girls night, party, date, yourself, you name it!!…
This past weekend I found myself in Waco, Texas. One of my best friends started Law School at Baylor in the Fall so it was about time for a quick visit. There’s something about spending a couple days with the best of pals that’ll leave you refreshed and filled with joy! …
Happy Monday… WOAH those last few days went by fast! I can already tell this week is going to be a good one. Just few short days of work and then Thanksgiving here I come! My sister is coming into town tomorrow and that’s when our holiday will really start. I’m already getting ahead of myself thinking about all of our family traditions. Just a few more days left of dreaming.
Anyways, here are a few things I found recently that you might want to see:
How adorable is this pie stencil? I love this idea to add a little something to spice up a traditional Thanksgiving dessert. I even saw one that said “you want a piece of me?!” HA
Now moving from one holiday to the next, I saw the sweetest Christmas advertisement this weekend about showing someone their loved this time of year. Watch and try not to tear up, I dare you!
I saw someone post this article and thought it was too good not to share. If you’re anything like me and the rest of the world then you probably love Disney. Well, take a look at these magical places that inspired Disney movies.
Last but not least, Bill Cunningham starting off our day right with some words of wisdom.
I took a small break from blogging and tried to limit my social media as much as possible for the last two weeks. Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and recharge. Now I’m feeling refreshed and excited to share some new ideas I have with you. As you can see, I’m doing a bit of an update to the blog so pardon the mess while I work on this ongoing project.
One of the first things I’m stoked about sharing with you all is a new series I’m starting called “Mood.” This will be where I’ll post a few things I’ve found and don’t want you to miss seeing! The first one is below. I’d love to hear what you think! Enjoy!
The holidays are right around the corner and Pinterest has me pinning anything and everything Christmas related. I’ve been craving a good project and spotted the sweetest Mini Tree Advent Calendar. Hello, CRAFT time!!
A sweet reminder that is always needed.
I may be late to the game, but if you haven’t seen how Adele’s new song Hello came about, stop everything your doing and watch this clip from Ellen. NOW!
I stumbled upon this handmade dollhouse on West Elm’s blog and it literally blew my mind. ha! The miniature versions of West Elm’s furniture was what really got me. I’m ready to move in!
This weekend I graduated with a degree in Marketing from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas. I have been so blessed to have had this journey for the last few years and to have received unconditional love and support from my family and friends. This is just the beginning and I can’t wait to see where I go from here. Lucky to call myself a Longhorn for life. Hook ‘Em and cheers to the future!!
I’m so happy that I finally get to share these photos from New York Fashion Week with you! Just last month I had the opportunity to work behind the scenes at the Lela Rose show and it was an experience of a lifetime. I could not get over the fast paced environment of the Lincoln Center, bright lights, and hand crafted garments that were right up my alley. Not to mention every piece in this collection was stunning. The combination of textures, patterns, and colors were nothing short of inspiring. I hope that one day I will find myself back and reliving these memories. Until then, I will be watching this video of the full collection over and over.
